Words like "great" and "adventure" denote certain things to me. I have, for years, used the word adventure when people would comment on our family and the busyness that must surround it. I would often say that it is an adventure! That can denote activity, but not all positive, nor all negative, rather a blend of both! I see the military as the same! And "great" can mean fantastic or vast. I prefer the latter! Any wife that has been married to an active duty guy knows the challenges...if you have only been married months or decades, it an adventure!
My husband is nearing retirement. We met in high school, so I got to be there from the start. It has been quite the great adventure!
